optegra:hhkl supports NORD Holding’s acquisition of WEMAS Absperrtechnik GmbH
NORD Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Hanover acquired 100 % of the shares in WEMAS Absperrtechnik GmbH, Gütersloh in a succession transaction. In this transaction, the existing management also acquired a participatory interest in the company.
WEMAS Absperrtechnik GmbH was founded in 1971 and has evolved into the German market leader for integrated and certified solutions in highway barrier engineering. The product range comprises beacons, guardrails, lighting, foot plates and traffic cones and other accessories. Headquartered in Gütersloh, WEMAS generates sales revenue of approximately € 30 million with around 100 employees. NORD Holding is pursuing a growth strategy with WEMAS in Germany as well as in neighbouring European markets.
